
I am a teaching assistant in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the College of Public Health. I have a demonstrated history of working at the Ministry of Health, followed by a decade working at a medical services group in the Kuwait National Guard as a Major officer, skilled in Teaching, Community and Health Studies, and Data Analysis. I hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and a bachelor's in Health Information Management from Kuwait University. My research interests cover epidemiological and community health studies, health system capacity building, health economics, health policy evaluation, and health planning. I am working jointly with KFAS on two funded projects concerning the economic burden of COVID-19 and the cost-effectiveness analysis of colorectal cancer screening modalities in Kuwait.
