Under the patronage and in the presence of Acting Dean of the College of Life Sciences, Prof. Ahmed Rashid Al-Lafi, the Graduation Projects Exhibition for students of the College of Life Sciences was inaugurated at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the college lobby. The event was attended by the Acting Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Graduate Studies, Dr. Tareq Al-Shatti, the Acting Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Sharifah Al-Kandari, as well as a number of academic and administrative staff members and students of the college.
On this occasion, Prof. Al-Lafi expressed his happiness with this important event, affirming that the exhibition represents one of the most significant milestones in students’ academic journeys. He stated: “Each project presented in this exhibition tells a story filled with ideas, passion, and challenges, and reflects our students’ readiness to enter professional life with competence and confidence.” He also extended his appreciation to all those who contributed to the preparation and success of the exhibition, including faculty members, students, organizers, and sponsors. Concluding his remarks, he addressed the students, saying: “Be assured that with the College of Life Sciences, your present is promising, and your future will be even brighter.”
It is worth noting that the exhibition featured more than 14 projects, covering a diverse range of concepts. These included initiatives aimed at developing certain campus services to create a more pedestrian environment, a study comparing parental awareness and their level of cooperation with speech therapists during their children’s treatment journey, as well as a comparative study on the impact of the auditory-verbal program on children with cochlear implants versus those using hearing aids. The event concluded with the honoring of the participating students.
