Under the patronage of the Vice President for Medical Sciences and Acting Secretary General of Kuwait University, Prof. Noura Ahmad Al-Suwaih, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Administration of Catering at Kuwait University organized a seminar on obesity awareness. The seminar was presented by Dr. Abeer Al-Bahouh, Director of the Health Promotion Department, in the presence of Acting Assistant Secretary General for Facilities Management Affairs, Mr. Mohammad Saud Al-Sulaiman, on Wednesday at the lobby of the College of Arts at Sabah Al-Salem University City.

During the seminar, Dr. Abeer Al-Bahouh delivered a detailed presentation on obesity, its causes, and preventive measures, accompanied by an awareness exhibition in the college that included several participating entities: the Health Promotion Department of the Ministry of Health and Kuwait Flour Mills Company, aiming to educate students at the college.

Dr. Al-Bahouh stated: “I am honored and delighted to hold this interactive seminar today to raise students’ awareness about obesity, through the collaboration between the Health Promotion Department at the Ministry of Health and the Administration of Catering at Kuwait University.”
