In line with the University’s role in highlighting students’ talents and providing a motivating academic environment

Under the patronage of the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jasem Al-Hamdan, the Student Activities Section of the Department of Student Housing and International Students Affairs organized a football activity with the participation of a large number of students residing in university housing. The event was attended by the Director of the Department of Student Housing and International Student Affairs, Mr. Faleh Al-Masoud; the Supervisor of the Department, Mr. Nabil Al-Mufreh; and the Head of the Student Housing Section, Mr. Mubarak Al-Enezi. The activity was supervised by the Head of the Student Activities Section, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Shehab, along with Mr. Rakan Al-Matar from the same section. The event took place on Saturday evening, 6 December 2025, at the football field of Sabah Al-Salem University City.
In this context, seventy students from university housing participated in the activity, distributed across five different groups. The matches witnessed notable interaction and enthusiasm from the audience, who provided continuous support and followed the games until the conclusion of the event. The activity concluded with the victory of African Community Team (A) over African Community Team (B) by a score of one goal to nil. The top scorer of the activity received a financial incentive in recognition of his outstanding performance. The football activity was well received by the participating students, who regarded it as a positive opportunity to utilize their free time in a beneficial and constructive manner.
