The President of Kuwait University, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, received His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait, during a visit in which the latest academic and research developments were discussed, along with ways to enhance cultural and knowledge exchange between the two brotherly countries. The meeting took place at Sabah Al-Salem University City on Sunday, 8 February 2026.

On this occasion, Prof. Al-Mailem affirmed that the visit comes within the framework of strengthening academic, research, and tourism cooperation between Kuwait University and educational institutions and universities in the Sultanate of Oman. She noted that this would contribute to broadening prospects for collaboration in both the academic and tourism sectors, supporting scientific research, and consolidating cultural ties, reflecting the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries.

For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi expressed his great pleasure and pride in visiting Kuwait University, praising its academic standing and its leading role in supporting higher education and scientific research. He also expressed his aspiration to open broader avenues of joint cooperation in a manner that serves the educational and knowledge interests of both sides.
