In Support of the University's Role in Graduating Proactive Leaders with Broad Specialized and Knowledge-Based Backgrounds The College of Engineering and Petroleum Concludes Graduate Training Program in Cooperation with Mitsubishi Power

As part of the agreement signed between Kuwait University and Mitsubishi Power Ltd. under the slogan "Develop Yourself," the training program for talented Kuwaiti graduates from the College of Engineering and Petroleum has successfully concluded. The participants completed the Mitsubishi Power training program, gaining technical knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced power generation systems at the Sabiya Power Plant—one of the most important facilities operated by the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in Kuwait.
Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazaa, emphasized that such agreements support engineers through training and preparation for the job market. He noted that Mitsubishi is a distinguished company capable of effectively transferring knowledge and technology to benefit students of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, particularly in the field of thermal power generation. He added that the agreement aligns with empowering the private sector to contribute to equipping university students with the expertise necessary to achieve sustainable development.
