Prof. Abdullah Jawad Sultan, Vice President for Research, invited members of Kuwait University — including faculty members, teaching assistants, and graduate students — as well as researchers from local research institutions collaborating with Kuwait University under cooperation agreements, namely: Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, the Public Authority for the National Guard, Kuwait Oil Company, and the Environment Public Authority, to promptly register and participate in the Scientific Poster Event for the 2025/2026 academic year.
On this occasion, Prof. Sultan stated that scientific research is at the core of Kuwait University’s priorities. The university has demonstrated this commitment by supporting and funding research, encouraging researchers, organizing the Scientific Poster Event, promoting research collaboration, and fostering community partnerships with various state institutions.
Prof. Sultan emphasized that the optimal way to keep pace with scientific and technological developments is to continue encouraging research and providing continuous support to researchers, thereby reinforcing the implementation of sustainable development, and contributing to the realization of Kuwait Vision 2035.
Dr. Mabkhout Mohammad Al-Dosari, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation, added that the Scientific Poster Event is one of the most important tools for advancing research at Kuwait University and enhancing the research process. The event also aims to provide a comprehensive platform to strengthen collaboration between researchers in academic and research institutions, contributing to addressing the state’s priority challenges.
