Kuwait University Announces the Admission of 132 Self-Sponsored International Students for the Second Semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026

Kuwait University has announced the admission of 132 male and female international students who are self-sponsored, representing various nationalities and graduates of the secondary school stage, for enrollment in the University during the second semester of the academic year 2025/2026. This admission has been granted in accordance with the rules and conditions governing the admission of secondary school graduates approved by the University.
In this regard, the Acting Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz, explained that the admission of self-sponsored international students was conducted based on the applicants’ stated preferences and within the limits of the approved admission capacity and available vacancies, in accordance with the decisions of the University Council and the Council of Public Universities. This process also took into consideration the minimum admission requirements for Kuwaiti students in each college, as well as the admission policy for the academic year 2025/2026, which stipulates that any non-Kuwaiti applicant to any academic program at the University must have a secondary school percentage or equivalent average that is not less than the minimum percentage accepted for Kuwaiti students in the same specialization.
He further added that all accepted students will be notified via text messages sent to their mobile phones, specifying the academic program to which they have been admitted. Acceptance confirmation will be completed online through the Electronic Admission System by accessing the University’s website at
http://portal.ku.edu.kw/admission
and paying the required fee of ten (10) Kuwaiti Dinars.
Additionally, all applicants who have submitted admission applications may check the outcome of their applications by accessing the aforementioned electronic admission application website.
The Acting Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz, concluded his statement by extending his congratulations to the admitted students and their families, and by wishing the students every success in their academic journey at Kuwait University.
