Students from the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University secured first place in the "Athar" Training Program, launched by Union of Investment Companies (UIC), for their "Fils" application concept. The winning project was developed by the team participating under Kamco Invest and with the participation of students Jouri Al-Marzouq and Noura Al-Mutairi.

Eight students from the College of Business Administration participated in the program: Yousef Al-Ghanem, Bader Burhama, Hind Al-Shammari, Fajer Al-Shammari, Dana Al-Kandari, Jouri Al-Marzouq, Abdulwahab Al-Fahad, and Noura Al-Mutairi. They completed a six-week practical training program at several investment companies, enabling them to apply their academic knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in the investment sector.

The inaugural "Athar" Training Program aims to prepare university students for careers in the financial and investment sectors by equipping them with practical experience. The program directly connects students with investment companies that are members of the Union, providing field-based training that develops their professional skills and enhances their readiness for the labor market.

The participating students and winning teams were honored during a ceremony held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the patronage of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Tariq Al-Jalahma, and attended by Abdullah Al-Terkait, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Investment Companies.

This achievement reflects the excellence of the College of Business Administration students and their ability to apply their academic knowledge in developing practical and innovative ideas. It also demonstrates the College's commitment to strengthening the integration of academic learning with practical application and refining students' skills to prepare highly qualified national talent capable of contributing to the financial and investment sector.
