The championship will take place from October 7, 2025, to February 11, 2026.

The event is held in strategic partnership with Zain Kuwait and Al-Sayer Group, with support from Warba Bank, and an academic partnership with Kuwait Technical College (K-Tech)—reflecting a true national collaboration among the education, youth, and private sectors to serve the future of Kuwait.

In his speech during the event, Prof. Haider Behbehani, Acting Dean of the College of Science, stated:

“The College of Science’s initiative to organize the Kuwait National Robotics Championship affirms its commitment to supporting Kuwait University’s strategic plan. This initiative aims to enhance young people’s skills and abilities in building robots, applying technological and artificial intelligence tools, and fostering creative and innovative thinking, effective communication, and teamwork throughout the competition’s stages."  He further explained that this initiative contributes to preparing a generation equipped with outstanding scientific, practical, and engineering skills—translating Kuwait Vision 2035 into reality by investing in youth as they are the nation’s true wealth and future leaders.
He extended his appreciation to the university administration, the Ministry of Education, the Public Authority for Youth, and all sponsoring parties for their support.

For his part, Mr. Nasser Al-Sheikh, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Youth, stated:

“We are pleased to announce the launch of the Kuwait National Robotics Championship, organized in collaboration with Kuwait University and the Ministry of Education, with the participation of school and university students. This championship represents the largest platform in Kuwait for inspiring innovation among youth in the fields of STEM. It crowns the ongoing efforts since 2023 in partnership with Kuwait University, which have already led Kuwaiti teams to achieve honorable results in international competitions in the United States. We believe this initiative embodies our commitment to supporting Kuwait Vision 2035 by empowering young people with modern scientific and technological skills—strengthening Kuwait’s position as a regional hub for innovation and knowledge. This season includes competitions, workshops, and scientific camps designed to refine students’ skills and prepare them for regional and global competitions.
