Majed Al-Shaheen, a student at the College of Medicine at Kuwait University, secured first place in the Eighth Medical Student Research Forum (MSRF) at King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the region’s most prominent student research platforms.

Acting Vice Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies, College of Medicine, Kuwait University — Dr. Heba Al-Hussaini, expressed her pride in this new achievement, which adds to the College’s record of student excellence. She noted that Al-Shaheen had previously received an Honorable Mention award in the electronic scientific poster (e-poster) competition during last year’s annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

She added that his distinction in scientific research and dedication to academic excellence bring pride to the College of Medicine at the Health Sciences Center and to the State of Kuwait, wishing him continued success and hoping he will achieve further accomplishments in the future.
