Preparations Reviewed to Ensure the Safety of Students, Faculty Members, and University Staff
KUNA – His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection visit to Sabah Al-Salem University City accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Abdullah Al-Jalal, and the President of Kuwait University, prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem.
During the visit, His Highness held a meeting with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of Kuwait University, and several university officials. The meeting reviewed the preparations and measures undertaken to ensure the continuity of the educational process. It also addressed ways to strengthen coordination with relevant government entities in order to safeguard the safety of students, faculty members, and university staff, as well as to ensure the sustainability of the services provided. In addition, the discussion covered future strategies for utilizing technological tools to support education and to provide a stable academic environment.
His Highness also listened to a briefing from the officials regarding the field management system adopted to monitor campus facility movements and to coordinate among the concerned authorities, which contributes to enhancing readiness and ensuring rapid response under various circumstances.
His Highness praised the efforts exerted by the university administration and the academic and administrative staff, commending their dedication to fulfilling their duties and continuing their work with a strong sense of national responsibility during these exceptional circumstances. He affirmed the government’s full support for all initiatives that strengthen the preparedness of educational institutions and ensure the continuation of their vital role in serving the nation.
