The event was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants from the department, and university students. Participants competed in a spirited and intellectually stimulating environment, testing their skills in solving integration problems amid an exciting atmosphere filled with sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
This competition is part of a global academic tradition that began in the 1980s at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and later spread to higher education institutions around the world. The aim of the competition is to enhance analytical thinking and speed in performing integration, encouraging students to explore mathematical concepts in an engaging and interactive way. It also provides a platform to showcase their skills in a competitive setting that enriches the educational experience and fosters involvement in the scientific community.
The competition received widespread participation from both students and faculty, reflecting the academic community's strong interest in developing mathematical skills.
