The Office of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Education Organizes a Panel Discussion for Academic Guidance and Counseling Staff at Kuwait University on Managing the Challenges of Enrollment Suspension and Withdrawal

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Office of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Education organized a panel discussion entitled “Managing the Challenges of Enrollment Suspension and Withdrawal” for the academic guidance and counseling staff across various colleges of Kuwait University. The event aimed to address key regulations and policies relevant to students during their academic journey and to review the latest updates concerning university bylaws.
The panel was held with the participation of the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the  Student Affairs Administration and the of Social Welfare Department.
Staff from the academic guidance and counseling offices at several colleges also took part in the event, including the College of Architecture, College of Public Health, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Arts, College of Business Administration, College of Science, College of Life Sciences, and the College of Social Sciences.
At the conclusion of the session, Ms. Maryam Al-Baqshi, Supervisor of the Academic Affairs Department  at the Deanship of Student Affairs, reaffirmed the importance of the regulations governing enrollment suspension and student withdrawals, as well as any recent updates to these policies.
The event concluded with a gesture of appreciation by Ms. Anfal Al-Ojayan, Head of the Academic Guidance and Counseling Office at the College of Education, who honored the participants for their presence and contributions.
