On Monday, May 26, 2025, the President of Kuwait University, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, received the European Union Ambassador to Kuwait, Anne Koistinen, and her accompanying delegation at Sabah Al-Salem University City. The meeting was also attended by the Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University, Dr. Bader Ahmed Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, and the Vice President of the University for Medical Sciences, Prof. Nourah Al-Suwaih.
The visit aimed to explore ways of cooperation between the university and the European mission in the fields of education, training, and scientific research, as well as to enhance the exchange of expertise through student and academic exchanges. Additionally, it included reviewing strategic partnerships with global universities to support the university’s academic and research plans.
Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting knowledge, empowering women, promoting environmental sustainability, and focusing on space and artificial intelligence fields. She also highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships with global universities in supporting the university’s strategic plans and advancing the levels of education and scientific research.
