With the aim to support research collaboration and strengthen cultural and academic ties between the two countries 

Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, received Her Excellency Halima Mahmoud, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Kuwait, on the morning of Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Sabah Al-Salem University City, in a meeting that was attended by the Vice President for Planning and Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Osama Al-Omair, and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs for Assessment and Measurement, Dr. Suleiman Al-Rafea. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere where the latest academic and research developments were discussed to further enhance cultural and knowledge exchange between the two nations.

Prof. Al-Mailem affirmed that the visit presents an opportunity to review the latest academic and research progress, and to explore avenues for strengthening cooperation between Kuwait University and public universities in the Republic of Kenya, with the aim of supporting research collaboration and consolidating cultural and academic relations between the two countries.

Her Excellency Ambassador Halima Mahmoud expressed her sincere pleasure and pride in visiting Kuwait University, expressing hope for the establishment of more fruitful partnerships in academic and research fields, thereby advancing mutual knowledge and development between the two nations.
