
On Sunday, May 25, 2025, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, received a delegation from the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) at Sabah Al-Salem University City. The delegation was led by Mr. Mohammad Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Consumer and Digital Banking Services; Mr. Hisham Al-Nusif, General Manager of Personal Banking; Ms. Ghadeer Al-Awadhi, Assistant General Manager; Ms. Amal Al-Duwaisan, Head of Weyay Bank; Mr. Mohammad Al-Wazzan, Director of Sales Force Management; and Mr. Salem Al-Rasheedi, Relationship Officer for NBK and Weyay Bank. The visit aimed to strengthen the strategic partnership between NBK and Kuwait University.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Bader Ahmad Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University; Prof. Osama Ali Al-Omair, Vice President for Planning; Prof. Mohammad Ali Al-Mulla, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Mohammad Al-Sulaiman, Acting Assistant Secretary-General for Facilities Management; and Mr. Fahad Al-Nasser, Advisor to the President’s Office.
The discussions focused on areas of mutual collaboration, particularly in practical training opportunities for students, employment prospects, and support for university programs and activities — all of which contribute to enhancing students’ skills and preparing them for the labor market.
Prof. Al-Mailem emphasized the university’s commitment to involving its students in high-quality training programs within leading institutions, thereby equipping them with the capabilities needed to enter the job market with confidence and competence.
