Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, received Lt. Gen. Talal Mohammad Al-Roumi, Chief of the General Fire Force, along with Col. Dr. Faiz Abdulaziz Al-Nassar and Maj. Abdullah Waleed Mohammad, on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Sabah Al-Salem University City.

The meeting was attended by Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University Dr. Bader Ahmad Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, Vice President for Health Sciences Prof. Noura Ahmad Al-Suweih, Assistant Vice President for Planning Dr. Majed Abdulrazzaq Majeed, Acting Assistant Secretary-General for Facilities Management Mr. Mohammad Saud Al-Sulaiman, Director of the Security and Safety Department Mr. Youssef Al-Khamees, and Advisor to the President’s Office Mr. Fahad Al-Nasser.

Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Kuwait University and the General Fire Force in areas such as training, technical support, and institutional development. The discussion also addressed ways to activate the cooperation agreement between both parties, particularly with regard to the utilization of Kuwait University Hospital, thereby contributing to strengthened coordination between academic institutions and national entities involved in emergency and crisis management.

Prof. Al-Mailem affirmed Kuwait University’s readiness to extend all forms of support and collaboration with governmental bodies, emphasizing the importance of institutional integration in advancing the public interest.
