Prof. Al-Mailem: We are committed to delivering well-organized exams and continuously enhancing our services to ensure quality and discipline.
Kuwait University President, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, inspected the administration of the second-chance academic aptitude tests held on Saturday, 29th of November 2025, in which 9,513 male and female students registered—marking the highest number recorded since the university first implemented aptitude testing.
Prof. Al-Mailem conducted a field tour of the colleges at Sabah Al-Salem University City to oversee the administration of both the paper-based and electronic exams, and to assess operations inside the designated testing halls. During her tour, she met with students, their parents, and supervising committee members, and reviewed the readiness of the working teams and the effectiveness of the adopted organizational procedures. She was accompanied by Mr. Khaled Al-Ali, Director of the Technical Office.
During the tour, she emphasized that Kuwait University is committed to providing a safe and integrated educational environment for its students, placing their safety and comfort as a top priority by equipping testing halls and facilitating procedures to ensure examinations are conducted in an orderly atmosphere.
The academic aptitude tests cover three major areas: Arabic, English, and Mathematics, aiming to measure students’ readiness for admission into various university majors and to reinforce principles of fairness and transparency in the admissions process. The exams are administered in two sessions: the first from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., and the second from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., in accordance with a precise schedule that ensures smooth entry, exit, and overall test flow.
At the conclusion of her tour, the University President met with the supervising committees across the colleges, expressing her appreciation for their efforts in ensuring proper preparation and organization, and for upholding the highest standards of quality and discipline necessary for the success of the examination process.
