Kuwait University President Receives Delegation from the Leadership Development Center to Discuss Enhancing Partnership in Training Programs and Leadership Capacity Building

Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, received a delegation from the Leadership Development Center at the General Headquarters of the National Guard at the Sabah Al-Salem University City. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for joint cooperation between the two parties in the fields of training and the development of leadership and administrative capacities for National Guard personnel, thereby contributing to the preparation and qualification of national cadres both academically and professionally.
The visit was organized within a program conducted by the Community Service and Continuing Education Center at Kuwait University to strengthen academic and training partnerships between the two institutions. The program focuses on designing comprehensive training plans targeting commanding officers and leaders , and providing opportunities to observe best practices in administrative and technical fields, in alignment with the development requirements of the National Guard system.
Attendees from Kuwait University included Dr. Hamed Al-Fraih, Assistant Vice President for Academic Support Services for Community Service and Libraries, and Ms. Etemad Al-Kandari, Acting Director of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, in addition to representatives from the Leadership Development Center, department heads, and staff members of the center.
In this context, Prof. Al-Mailem emphasized that Kuwait University places great importance on developing partnerships with national institutions, particularly security and military entities, through specialized training programs that enhance personnel efficiency and provide advanced leadership and professional skills, thereby supporting the shared objectives of qualifying national cadres and developing their capacities.
This visit reflects Kuwait University’s commitment to enhancing its role in community service and activating institutional partnerships aimed at developing training programs and capacity building, thereby reinforcing its position as a leading academic institution contributing to human development and national growth.
