A supportive learning environment provides students with the best opportunities for success and excellence.
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Abdullah Al-Jalal, congratulated the students admitted for the 2026–2027 academic year following the completion of admission results across public higher education institutions, as well as internal and external scholarship programs. He wished them continued success in their academic journey and expressed his hope that they would use the knowledge and skills they acquire to serve Kuwait and contribute to its progress and prosperity.
Dr. Al-Jalal explained that, in coordination with higher education institutions, the Ministry has worked to provide diverse educational opportunities both within Kuwait and abroad for secondary school graduates from public and private schools across all educational systems for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic years. He added that the Ministry has also expanded academic programs aligned with labor market needs. He emphasized that admission to public higher education institutions and both internal and external scholarship programs was conducted in accordance with the admission requirements and approved criteria of each institution, after applicants met the admission requirements. This approach reinforces the principles of equal opportunity and fairness while providing students with broader pathways to pursue higher education in line with their qualifications and aspirations.
The Minister noted that the university stage represents a pivotal milestone in students' lives, during which they build knowledge, develop their capabilities, and broaden their experiences, preparing them to transition confidently into professional life. He stressed that providing educational opportunities for the people of Kuwait is not merely about university admission, but rather an investment in a generation that will bear the responsibility of building the nation's future.
Dr. Al-Jalal reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment, in cooperation with higher education institutions, to continue supporting students, enhancing their academic experience, and providing a motivating educational environment that enables them to achieve success and excellence, enabling them to make the most of their years of study, and strengthen their preparedness to enter the labor market.
