The Deanship of Student Affairs at Kuwait University, represented by the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities, organized an art workshop titled “Texture Art” on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, held at the art studio of the College of Engineering and Petroleum.

The workshop was presented by student Sheikha Al-Otaibi, under the supervision of art coordinator Sara Al-Mershad, and in the presence of Mr. Bader Al-Mutairi, Head of the Art Section. The session aimed to introduce students to textile art techniques and how to incorporate a variety of materials in producing visually and tactilely engaging artwork.

The workshop attracted a group of art-enthusiastic students who participated in a hands-on, interactive experience. They explored new materials and tools, applying diverse techniques to create artworks that reflected their personal aesthetic visions and emphasized visual and tactile values.

This workshop is part of a broader series of artistic programs organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs to support student talent and encourage the development of their creative skills within an inspiring, educational art environment.
