In line with its aim to provide a rich university environment that allows students to express their talents and develop their skills across various artistic and cultural fields
The Art Department within the Cultural and Artistic Activities Administration of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Kuwait University hosted several student activities, including the “Calligraphy” exhibition in collaboration with art studios at the College of Science and the college of Engineering, and Petroleum, supervised by the art coordinators Ms. Huda Baqer and Ms. Bedour Al-Rashidi, in the presence of Acting Director of Cultural and Artistic Activities Administration Ms. Naifah Al-Shammari and Head of the Art Department Mr. Bader Al-Mutairi. Another exhibition titled “Hobby” was held at the College of Life Sciences under the supervision of Ms. Raghad Al-Eid and the attendance of Acting Vice Dean for Student Activities Dr. Salem Matroud Al-Shammari.
Both exhibitions featured a variety of artworks created by university students, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills and enrich their artistic experiences.
These activities form part of the Art Department's ongoing efforts to support student talent and provide artistic platforms to display their creations, fostering a dynamic artistic environment within the university that transforms personal interests into distinguished works of art and promotes creativity and cultural awareness among students.
The exhibitions attracted a notable turnout from students and university staff, who praised the level of creativity and diversity in the showcased works, emphasizing the importance of such events in supporting the artistic movement on campus and enhancing students’ cultural and creative interests.
