College of Engineering and Petroleum Holds Honor List and High Achievers Recognition Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024/2025

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazzaa, the Office of Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Engineering and Petroleum - Kuwait University, organized the Honor List and Academic Excellence Recognition Ceremony for the academic year 2024/2025. The ceremony was held on the morning of Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the college’s auditorium in Sabah Al-Salem University City.

The event was attended by Acting Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Juwaihel, the Acting Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Graduate Studies, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ajmi, the Acting Vice Dean for Planning, Consulting, and Training, Dr. Mabkhout Al-Dosari, along with the heads of academic departments at the College of Engineering and Petroleum.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazzaa expressed his pride in this celebratory day filled with joy and recognition, stating that the college is honoring a distinguished group of students who have shown remarkable dedication to their academic journey, becoming exemplary role models. He extended his gratitude to the Office of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, which organizes this event each semester.

He noted that the Dean’s Honor List included 133 students, and the number of academically outstanding students in the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025 was 70 students.

Outstanding student Anwar Tariq Mohammad from the Department of Chemical Engineering delivered a speech expressing that this recognition reflects Kuwait University's commitment to cultivating a competitive academic environment that promotes quality and innovation. She also thanked everyone who supported the students throughout their educational journey.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazzaa, Dr. Nawaf Al-Juwaihel, and the department heads honored the high-achieving students and the Dean’s Honor List.
