As we embark on a new academic year, it gives me great pleasure to extend my warmest wishes to the Kuwait University community for a year filled with dedication and achievement, and one that brings promising opportunities to pursue further excellence and leadership. May this new academic year mark an ambitious beginning toward broader horizons of knowledge and innovation, and an important milestone in shaping a future worthy of the aspirations of our nation and its youth, while further strengthening Kuwait University’s standing and its academic and research presence.

On this occasion, Kuwait University takes great pride in the gracious patronage extended by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may Allah protect and guide him; His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may Allah protect him; and His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, may Allah protect him, as well as the continued support of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education And Scientific Research, Prof. Nader Abdullah Al-Jallal. This patronage reflects a steadfast belief that knowledge is one of the fundamental pillars of nation-building and that the University, through its academic and national mission, is an integral contributor to the nation’s progress and advancement.

As we express our profound appreciation for the support extended to Kuwait University, we also recognize it as a responsibility that renews our determination and inspires us to continue our journey of dedication and excellence, further advancing the University’s role in serving the nation, preparing future generations, and contributing to building a future befitting the standing of the State of Kuwait and the aspirations of its wise leadership.

Kuwait University continues its journey toward achieving its strategic objectives, guided by the pillars of quality, innovation, distinguished presence, and sustainability. This is pursued through the continued development of its academic programs, the advancement of scientific research and innovation, the establishment of effective partnerships, and the provision of a stimulating university environment that contributes to enhancing the quality of education while keeping pace with rapid developments and the evolving needs of the labor market.

At this distinguished educational institution, which this year celebrates the 60th anniversary of its establishment, we firmly believe that collective effort is the path toward advancing our university. The success of our journey requires us to work as a united team and foster constructive cooperation among members of the academic staff, academic support staff, administrative staff, and students. Through these collective efforts, we can strengthen the University’s ability to fulfill its academic and national mission and translate its strategic objectives into tangible achievements in the areas of quality, innovation, distinguished presence, and sustainability.

We pray to Allah Almighty that this academic year will be filled with achievement, dedication, and excellence, and that He grants our dear students success in their academic journey. We also pray that He protects our beloved homeland, preserves the blessings of security and safety upon it, and grants it continued progress and prosperity under the guidance of its wise leadership, may Allah protect and guide them.
