The President of Kuwait University, Professor Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, received the Undersecretary of the National Guard, His Excellency Lieutenant General Eng. Hashem Abdulrazzaq Al-Rifai, and his accompanying delegation on the morning of Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Sabah Al-Salem University City campus.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the existing cooperation protocol between Kuwait University and the National Guard, which was signed in 2010. The meeting reviewed ways to activate and further develop the protocol in alignment with the leadership’s aspirations to support and enhance human capital development.
The cooperation protocol includes several key areas such as: scientific research and innovation, training and development, offering specialized courses in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, enhancing language programs, and working on the preparation and development of curricula for military educational institutions.
This meeting is part of Kuwait University’s continued efforts to provide scientific and academic support to various state institutions, stemming from its belief in the importance of integration across national sectors and in strengthening cooperation to serve the public interest—thus contributing to the nation’s development journey and the achievement of Kuwait’s national goals.
