In alignment with its mission to instill Islamic values and strengthen students’ sense of belonging to their religious identity, Kuwait University has announced its participation in the 28th Kuwait Grand Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition. The competition is organized by the General Secretariat of Awqaf under esteemed patronage, reflecting continuous dedication to promoting Qur’anic culture and encouraging young people to excel in memorization, recitation, and interpretation.
Kuwait University’s participation in this blessed competition aims to showcase students’ talents, enhance their spiritual and faith-based capacities, and provide them the opportunity to engage in honorable competition within one of the country’s most prominent Qur’anic events. This initiative aligns with the University’s vision to support purposeful activities and to contribute to building a conscious generation proud of the Holy Qur’an.
The University also encouraged all its members to register and participate in the various branches of the competition, affirming that such activities help refine students’ skills and reinforce the values of moderation, balance, and sound understanding of Qur’anic sciences. To support interested participants, the University has provided channels for communication and inquiries as part of its ongoing efforts to inspire Qur’anic and intellectual excellence among students.
