In line with Kuwait University’s mission to achieve a distinguished position at both the local and regional levels, Prof. Osama Ali Al-Omair, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Planning, welcomed His Excellency Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Kuwait, at Sabah Al-Salem University City.
On this occasion, Prof. Osama Al-Omair extended a warm welcome to the Pakistani Ambassador, expressing the University’s keen interest in fostering academic collaboration between the two sides. He emphasized Kuwait University’s commitment to broadening the scope of scientific and research cooperation across various academic disciplines with Pakistani universities.
For his part, Dr. Zafar Iqbal expressed his great pleasure at the visit, affirming his interest in exploring areas of academic and research collaboration between the two parties.
The visit aimed to sign memoranda of understanding between Kuwait University and Pakistani universities, in a step toward strengthening academic, scientific, and research relations and discussing potential avenues for future cooperation between the two countries.
