Kuwait University Organizes Workshop on Enhancing the Quality of Electronic Examinations Using Moodle and Artificial Intelligence Tools

Kuwait University organized, at noon on Tuesday, a remote training workshop entitled “Enhancing the Quality of Electronic Examinations Using the Moodle System and Best Practices for Remote Assessment.” The workshop was delivered by the Vice President for Academic Support Services, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Mutawa, as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to support digital transformation, develop the academic assessment system, and enhance the readiness of faculty members in light of current developments.
These workshops aim to strengthen faculty members’ preparedness in managing electronic examinations in accordance with best practices, ensuring the quality of assessment and the continuity of the educational process—particularly under the prevailing circumstances facing the country and the resulting shift toward distance learning.
Kuwait University builds on institutional expertise accumulated since the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently working to update and further develop this experience. The University also seeks to responsibly utilize artificial intelligence tools in supporting education and assessment. In addition, it provides faculty members, academic support staff, and students with a range of supportive resources, foremost among them the Moodle system, training workshops, instructional guides, and technical support.
