Kuwait University has announced that its College of Business Administration has been included among the top 30 business schools worldwide in the field of Islamic economics for the year 2026, according to a ranking issued by Salaam Gateway in collaboration with DinarStandard, a firm specializing in strategic planning and management.

The University explained that the College’s attainment of 15th place globally is the result of continuous development of its academic programs and the strengthening of scientific research in the fields of Islamic economics and finance. This achievement is further supported by the introduction of specialized courses and postgraduate programs in cooperation with the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, reflecting an integrated academic approach that serves this discipline.

It affirmed that this advancement embodies the dual pillars of quality and distinguished presence within Kuwait University’s strategic vision, through enhancing the standard of educational programs, reinforcing the credibility of its academic outputs, and consolidating its position at both the regional and international levels. This, in turn, supports the preparation of qualified national cadres in the financial and Islamic sectors.

The University added that the ranking is based on key criteria, including the depth of academic curricula, institutional credibility, and support for the educational environment, all of which contribute to strengthening the College’s standing in this specialization.
