The Acting Vice President for Health Sciences and Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University, Prof. Nourah Ahmad Al-Suwaih, received an academic delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), represented by Prof. Helena Kelly, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, and Dr. Shane Cullinan, Director of the Pharmacy Program. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sarah Al-Ghanem, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Ahmad Al-Hashim, Acting Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies; Dr. Fatemah Al-Saleh, Acting Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs; and Dr. Abdullah Al-Bassam, Acting Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs, Consultations, and Training.
This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the standing of the Health Sciences Center at Kuwait University through collaboration and exchange of expertise with prestigious international universities. Both parties discussed potential avenues for academic cooperation and scientific coordination, particularly in the areas of student exchange and professional training.
