Kuwait University Participates in the Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Engineering, Architecture, Planning, and Computer Science in the GCC Countries

Kuwait University, represented by the College of Engineering and Petroleum, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Engineering, Architecture, Planning, and Computer Science in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The meeting was chaired by the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Dr. Adel Hussein Malallah, in his capacity as Secretary of the Committee, and was held via the Microsoft Teams platform.

During its regular meeting, the Committee discussed ways to enhance research and knowledge collaboration among colleges in GCC countries, contributing to the development of research partnerships and strengthening cooperation in addressing shared regional challenges.

Kuwait University, represented by the College of Engineering and Petroleum, presented a proposal for a joint research collaboration initiative aimed at supporting collaborative research among universities, enriching the knowledge base, and promoting the exchange of expertise and research experiences among specialized colleges across GCC universities.

This initiative comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to build an integrated Gulf research ecosystem that fosters a spirit of cooperation and reinforces the principle of knowledge partnership among universities in the GCC countries.
