
As part of Kuwait University’s continuous efforts to build bridges of partnership with various government institutions and bodies, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, received Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, President the Authority for Medical Responsibility, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place on the morning of Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Sabah Al-Salem University City.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Kuwait University and the Authority for Medical Responsibility. Attending on behalf of Kuwait University were Prof. Nourah Al-Suwaih, Acting Secretary General and Vice President for Medical Support Services, Prof. Osama Ali Al-Omair, Vice President for Planning and Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Abdullah Jawad Ali Sultan, Vice President for Research, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Radwan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Mr. Mohammed Saud Al-Sulaiman, Acting Assistant Secretary General for Facilities Management Affairs. Representing the Authority for Medical Responsibility were Dr. Laila Al-Enzy, Vice President of the Authority, Ms. Dalal Al-Ahmad, Director of Administrative Affairs, Ms. Shaimaa Al-Asiri, Director of Legal Affairs, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Majed, Director of Public Relations and Media.
This memorandum aims to strengthen collaboration and exchange of expertise between academic staff and to develop training programs in the fields of law and medicine. It also includes the exchange of information and academic materials, as well as the organization of joint research programs, conferences, and other areas of mutual interest. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to reinforcing the partnership between Kuwait University and various state institutions, in alignment with the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035, particularly in the fields of human development, education, scientific research, and community service.
