As part of its efforts to promote the values of humanitarian voluntary work, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Department of Voluntary Activities and Scouting under the Department of Sports Activities and the Academic Guidance Administration, organized a voluntary activity to distribute winter clothing, with support from Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society. A total of 2,000 winter clothing kits were distributed to employees and security and safety personnel at Sabah Al-Salem University City, with the participation of the Kuwait University Voluntary Work Team.
This activity aims to support employees during the winter season, alleviate living burdens, and reinforce the concept of social responsibility and voluntary work among members of the university community, as well as enhance the spirit of cooperation and human solidarity.
Dr. Tareq Dashti, Acting Director of the Department of Sports Activities and Head of the Voluntary Team, affirmed that student participation in such voluntary activities represents a fundamental pillar in instilling humanitarian values. He noted that these activities reflect the university’s role in preparing an aware and proactive generation that contributes to serving society and embodies Kuwait University’s mission in humanitarian work.
