In line with Kuwait University’s strategic objective of promoting active and effective participation,
The activities of the programme "Gulf Aware Leaders – Wellbeing and Leadership"” were launched in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, on Monday, 8 December 2025, with the participation of 46 young men and women from various member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The forum witnessed the participation of student Rou’a Yousef Al-Dahham from the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Department of Chemical Engineering, and student Hamad Ghanem Al-Mu‘dhadi from the College of Law, representing the State of Kuwait as part of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the Aware Gulf Leadership Forum. Their participation came upon a kind invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (GCC Affairs) and the Public Authority for Youth.
During the forum, the two students met with a distinguished group of promising Gulf youth leaders and took part in a number of discussions, panel sessions, and training workshops, alongside a select group of prominent leadership figures. This participation aimed to develop their leadership skills, enhance societal awareness, and represent the State of Kuwait in a distinguished and honorable manner at this Gulf-level forum.
