Within the Framework of Academic, Research, and Scientific Cooperation Between the Two Sides, Office of Vice President for Scientific Affairs Hosts the Ambassador of the Republic of Mongolia

The Acting Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Osama Ali Al‑Omair, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Mongolia to the State of Kuwait, Mr. Sergelen Purev, at Sabah Al‑Salem University City. The meeting was attended by Prof. Huda Mahmoud, Assistant Vice President for Scientific Affairs for Academic Development, and Dr. Majed Abdulrazzaq Majeed, Assistant Vice President for Campus Planning.

This visit comes as part of the preparations for the upcoming official visit of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhna, to Kuwait, and aimed to discuss academic and research cooperation between the two sides. The discussions focused on the prospects for academic partnerships with accredited universities in Mongolia, particularly student exchange programs. Both parties also emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and scientific research to advance the educational and research systems of both countries, affirming their commitment to building strong bridges of communication that enhance knowledge sharing and open new avenues for fruitful cooperation in the future.

The Mongolian Ambassador praised the Arabic language education programs offered to non‑native speakers in Mongolia, highlighting that these students serve as ambassadors for both their home country and the State of Kuwait in this field.
