Kuwait University Receives a Delegation from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Cooperation with the Saud Al-Nasser Diplomatic Institute

The Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Sulaili, received a delegation from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, in the presence of senior university leadership, during an official visit to Sabah Al-Salem University City. The visit took place as part of a program organized by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the visiting delegation, on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the University’s facilities and its growing role as a distinguished cultural landmark, as well as its position as a leading knowledge hub in the region. This contributes to strengthening the University’s standing as an academic and cultural institution that attracts partners and guests, showcasing the scientific and cultural capabilities of the State of Kuwait, in line with the University’s strategic plan aimed at enhancing its presence at both the local and international levels.

The visit included an extended tour of several of the University’s key facilities using the electric shuttle route. The delegation visited the Visitors’ Center, where a visual presentation highlighted the main facilities of Sabah Al-Salem University City. The delegation then toured Al-Danah Hall, one of the most important landmark venues on campus, followed by a visit to the Central University Library, with its advanced knowledge and research resources. The tour also included a visit to the College of Law, one of the University’s prominent academic institutions dedicated to preparing legal professionals.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University and Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Nourah Al-Suwaih, received the delegation in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She affirmed the University’s continued commitment to fulfilling its national and institutional role as a prominent cultural landmark and an official gateway for receiving state delegations and guests, reflecting its leadership status and strengthening its presence in the academic and diplomatic arenas at both the local and international levels.
