Within the framework of enhancing preparedness and strengthening security measures in light of the current circumstances

Kuwait University, represented by the Administration of Security and Safety, conducted a mock evacuation drill at the University Administration Building in Sabah Al-Salem University City on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in cooperation with the General Department of Civil Defense. The drill was carried out as part of efforts to raise the level of readiness and ensure full preparedness to address emergency situations, as well as to strengthen security and safety procedures across the university’s facilities in light of the current circumstances facing the country and the region. 
In a statement, Kuwait University noted that the exercise aimed to ensure the readiness of emergency response plans and to train employees on evacuation procedures and the proper handling of emergency situations in accordance with the designated evacuation routes and the approved assembly points.
The university further explained that the exercise forms part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safety and prevention and to enhance the level of preparedness among its members, thereby contributing to safeguarding the well-being of all and ensuring an efficient response to various emergency situations.
