The Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Training, and Consultation at the Faculty of Law, Kuwait University, in cooperation with the GCC Intellectual Property Training Center, organized a workshop entitled “The Stages of Intellectual Property Development.” The event was held in the presence of His Excellency Minister Plenipotentiary Musaed Al-Kulaib, Head of the Intellectual Property Training Center for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and Professor Abdulrahman Al-Radwan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, on Monday, 17 November 2025, at the Faculty of Law Auditorium.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmad Al-Awshaz from the Department of Private Law, Mr. Hamad Al-Aftan from the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, and Mr. Rashid Al-Owaihan from the Ministry of Commerce, with the discussion moderated by Dr. Anas Al-Tourah from the Department of Private Law.
The event aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness, underscore the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, and highlight their role in supporting innovation and talent. It also emphasized the need to keep pace with legislative and technological developments in this field.
