In the Presence of the Vice President for Medical Sciences and Under the Patronage of Advanced Technology Company (ATC)

The College of Dentistry at the Health Sciences Center, Kuwait University, organized its annual Alumni Gathering Ceremony, which this year was distinguished by coinciding with the Silver Jubilee of the first cohort of the College’s students. The event was attended by the Vice President of Kuwait University for Medical Sciences, Prof. Nourah Al-Suwaih, the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jasem Al-Hamdan, the Acting Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Adnan Abul, the Acting Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Rashed Al-Azemi, along with Vice Deans, and was held under the patronage of Advanced Technology Company  (ATC)

The ceremony witnessed a large turnout of alumni, as well as members of the academic, administrative, and technical staff, in addition to a number of academic figures.
The Acting Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Rashed Al-Azemi, stated that celebrating the passage of twenty-five years since the graduation of the first cohort added a special character to the annual gathering, where cherished memories are renewed in a family-like atmosphere. He noted that the occasion also reflects a renewed journey rich in academic and research achievements and affirms the pioneering role undertaken by the College in preparing qualified cadres who have contributed to serving society and developing various sectors.
For her part, the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Manal Abualmelh, emphasized the importance of this event, noting that the annual alumni gathering represents a bridge of communication between different generations of the College’s graduates. It strengthens the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the academic institution and provides an opportunity to exchange expertise and keep pace with scientific developments. She also expressed her pride and honor in being a member of the first cohort of the College of Dentistry, considering it the starting point of her academic and professional journey.
