The Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jassem Al-Hamdan, honored the students who represented Kuwait University in the 10th Gulf Sports Tournament for Universities and Higher Education Institutions held in Muscat, and in the 2024 Gulf Cybersecurity Forum for Higher Education held in Qatar.

On this occasion, Prof. Al-Hamdan expressed his pride in celebrating a distinguished group of Kuwait University students who proudly represented their country in local, regional, and international forums and achieved accomplishments we are all proud of.

He emphasized that the administration of Kuwait University and the Deanship of Student Affairs firmly believe in the promising potential of the university’s students across various disciplines—talents that deserve to be nurtured and showcased with strength. He noted that their honorable contributions reflect not only their individual excellence but also raise the flag of Kuwait and elevate the standing of Kuwait University among educational institutions.

Prof. Al-Hamdan also highlighted that these students meet the criteria of the “We Are Proud of You” list, which includes the following conditions:

1.    The student must have received an award at the local, regional, or international level.
2.    The student must demonstrate good conduct and have no disciplinary actions on record.
3.    The student’s overall GPA must not be below "Good".
4.    The student must possess presentation skills related to their project or achievement.

He concluded by congratulating the honored students on this outstanding achievement, which reflects their excellence and embodies the result of their effort and determination. “You have proudly raised the name of Kuwait University and proven that its students can compete and excel in all fields. We thank you, and we stand beside you always supporting and encouraging you. You are our pride and the hope for the future,” he said.
