The President of Kuwait University, Prof. Dina Musaed Al Mailem, on her own behalf and on behalf of the university community, extends her highest congratulations and sincerest best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, may God protect and preserve him, on the occasion of the second anniversary of His Highness’s assumption of the reins of governance in the country.
Prof. Al Mailem affirmed that the State of Kuwait has witnessed, during His Highness’s prosperous era, a clearly defined renaissance founded upon his sound vision and wise leadership. The positive impact of this renaissance has been evident across various fields of development, particularly in the great attention His Highness accords to education and learning as fundamental pillars of progress and sustainable development.
The President of the University also expressed her deep pride and appreciation for His Highness’s wise leadership, affirming that Kuwait University represents one of the main pillars of the nation’s scientific renaissance. She emphasized that the University will continue to fulfill its national mission with dedication and sincerity, remaining a beacon of knowledge and learning and a vital source of national competencies contributing to the building of Kuwait’s prosperous future.
She concluded by supplicating to Almighty God to grant His Highness abundant health and well-being, to guide him toward all that serves the best interests of Kuwait and its people, and to perpetuate upon the nation the blessings of security and stability.
