As part of Kuwait University’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of safety procedures and enhance the readiness of its staff and visitors to handle emergencies, the University—represented by the Printing Press Administration and in cooperation with the Security and Safety Department—conducted a partial evacuation drill. The exercise, held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Printing Press Administration Building included testing alarm systems, emergency exits, response speed, and the movement to external assembly points, as well as simulated first-aid procedures for several employees. This represented a positive step aimed at implementing the highest standards of security and safety within the workplace. The drill was attended by Dr. Hussein Al-Qabandi, Director of the Kuwait University Printing Press Administration, along with a number of staff and administrative personnel.
