The Deanship of Student Affairs at Kuwait University, through the Cultural and Artistic Activities Administration, organized the second edition of the Student Talent and Innovation Forum and Exhibition on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at the College of Arts – Southern Campus, under the theme Challenge – Innovation – Sustainability. The event saw broad participation from 44 entities, including student clubs, volunteer teams, youth initiatives, and supporting official bodies.
The forum commenced with significant student and academic attendance. It featured a comprehensive exhibition of student talents showcasing innovative projects, visual arts, and various creative works, in addition to live demonstrations delivered by students, and educational workshops hosted at the College of Arts Theatre. These activities aimed to enhance students’ capabilities and develop their skills in the fields of innovation and production. The second edition of the Student Talent and Innovation Forum  and Exhibition reflects Kuwait University’s vision to empower students and refine their skills by providing an environment conducive to creativity and a platform that enables them to present their talents and develop their projects, thereby reinforcing the University’s role in shaping a promising generation capable of addressing future challenges.
In this context, Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jassem Al-Hamdan, affirmed that the Deanship places great emphasis on supporting talented and innovative students. He stated that the forum serves as a genuine platform for empowering youth, showcasing their potential, and transforming their talents into impactful national initiatives.
Al-Hamdan further noted that the University continues to adopt student initiatives that strengthen the culture of creativity on campus. He explained that the participation of 44 entities demonstrates the strong collaboration between the University and external organizations in supporting high-quality student activities. He added that the forum’s theme, “Challenge – Innovation – Sustainability,” embodies the University’s vision of cultivating a generation capable of producing innovative solutions aligned with the future needs of the State.
For her part, Dr. Intesar Al-Mudahka emphasized that this forum is not merely an annual event but rather a working charter, describing Kuwait University as a “true laboratory” where ideas capable of addressing national challenges are generated. She praised the role of the event sponsors—foremost among them the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), the Youth Public Authority, and Al-Hajri Pharmacy—in addition to the participating government bodies and university centers, noting that such cooperation is a key pillar in ensuring the forum’s success and achieving its objectives.
She added that students this year presented distinguished projects across various fields, reflecting Kuwait University’s capacity to graduate a generation capable of competing both locally and globally. She further stated:
“We are proud of every student who contributed, worked, and reached platforms of excellence. This forum reaffirms that the University is the environment in which ideas are created and future leaders are shaped.”
The halls of the College of Arts – Southern Campus witnessed wide engagement from students and visitors who toured the various booths, artistic displays, and innovative workshops. Attendees enjoyed live performances presented by students in design, arts, technological innovation, entrepreneurial projects, and educational showcases. The forum’s booths included hands-on demonstrations, educational dialogue sessions, as well as artistic and creative workshops that provided students with opportunities to acquire new skills and interact with diverse expertise. The College of Arts Theatre hosted a number of training workshops focusing on developing students’ innovative capacities and cognitive skills, offering them practical experiences and supporting the development of their ideas.
At the conclusion of the event, participating entities were honored by the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jassem Al-Hamdan, and the Acting Vice


Dean for Student Activities, Dr. Salem Al-Shammari. Appreciation was extended to the sponsors for their role in supporting student talents. The organizers emphasized that continuing such partnerships represents an important step toward achieving Kuwait Vision 2035.
