In line with Kuwait University’s commitment to implementing quality standards and continuous improvement, The General Secretariat at Kuwait University Passes External Audit and Renews ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the Tenth Consecutive Year

The General Secretariat at Kuwait University announces the successful renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, following the completion of the third external audit visit conducted by the certifying party, Bureau Veritas. The audit covered the departments reporting to the Assistant Secretary-General for Facilities Management Affairs, the Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs, in addition to the Public Relations and Media Department and the Legal Affairs Department. Notably, no observations or nonconformities were recorded by the certifying party during the current visit or any of the previous audits.

The current contract represents the fourth certification cycle within a continuous ten-year journey of maintaining the Quality Management System certification, reflecting the General Secretariat’s sustained commitment—along with all its departments—to applying the highest standards of quality and continuous improvement in performance and services provided.

This achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts of the concerned departments, in coordination with the Quality Management Office, and under the guidance of the university administration, in implementing system requirements and fostering a culture of institutional excellence. These efforts aim to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and the sustainability of ongoing development and improvement.
