Research Interests

Include, but not limited to:

Technology’s Impacts on Politics: Can the use of technology sway voters’ opinions? Does the use of technology alter what messages are how messages and information are disseminated?

Technology’s Impacts on Education: Technology changes the methods and pedagogies of education because it changes human to human interaction as well as human interaction with knowledge and ideas. How does the choice of technology can affect the quantity and quality of education?

Ethical Decision-Making and Judging: what are the conditions under which the public morality of a society is formulated by individuals who are lower than the societal average on the moral development scale? (For example Nazi’s morality was formulated at a moral developmental stage that was lower than the average societal moral development).

Teaching Ethical Decision-Making and Judging: The question of “Can ethical behavior/ morality be taught?” is one that has not been satisfactorily answered. I aspire to create an instrument that answers that question.

Impacts of Culture on Business and Technologies: Culture is more than a background for interaction. Culture has impacts on decision-making processes and judgments. Furthermore, culture impacts both business models and adoption of technologies. I would like to formulate a model explaining how those impacts happen, and create a board typology of cultures that managers can use when conducting international business.
