I am responsible for teaching a full course load, which includes preparing lectures, grading assignments, and mentoring students. In addition to teaching, I am expected to conduct original research, publish scholarly work, and contribute to the advancement of linguistics. I also engage in administrative duties such as serving on committees, participating in departmental planning, and supporting institutional goals.
I currently teach a wide range of courses in linguistics, carry out administrative duties, and attend conferences and workshops to expand my academic network and experience.
My research interests include the many areas and intersections of semantics, pragmatics, humor studies, sociolinguistics, intercultural communication, and artificial intelligence.
I teach a wide range of linguistics courses with great passion and gusto. They include Semantics, Pragmatics, Language Acquisition, Discourse Analysis, Applied Linguistics, Language and Humor, Language and Persuasion, and Sociolinguistics. I also teach general English courses, like writing and oral presentation, as well as general interest ones such as Intercultural Communication.
