The graduation project represents a crucial stage in assessing students’ academic and practical achievements and provides an opportunity to present original design solutions with tangible social and cultural impact.

Innovative Projects Serving Society and Reinforcing Cultural Identity

This year’s projects reflected a wide range of themes and areas of focus, showcasing creativity and critical thinking while addressing contemporary societal and cultural issues, icluding:

  • “Tasheel” Project – Maryam Saad Al-Rashidi

  • “Applyit” Project – Nayef Obaid Al-Mutairi
An educational project targeting students in visual communication design. It simplifies design concepts and elements through reference, application, and assessment tools to help students better understand design principles and enhance their creative outputs.
  • “Ta’ataf” Project – Aisha Ibrahim Al-Sharrah
An educational initiative that promotes emotional intelligence among parents through an interactive and accessible book. It includes four booklets explaining components of emotional intelligence, along with shared exercises for parents and children to foster healthy and constructive communication.

An Educational Vision that Fuses Creativity with Social Responsibility

The showcased projects skillfully integrated theoretical knowledge with practical application, employing design tools to address real-world issues such as safety, heritage, education, and parenting. Faculty members and visitors praised the high caliber of student work and their ability to deliver well-researched, visually compelling solutions with clear messages.

These projects reflect the learning outcomes of the department and demonstrate students’ readiness to transition into the workforce and contribute to their communities through conscious and innovative design.
