the Center for Educational Development at the College of Education, Kuwait University, announces that the project Teach KW Galaxy has won first place in the Women in Technology Hackathon 2025.
 

The Center for Educational Development at the College of Education, Kuwait University, announced the victory of Teach KW Galaxy, which secured first place in the Women in Technology Hackathon – 2025, organized by Zain, with the participation of student teams from various public and private universities in the State of Kuwait.
The project team consisted of the following students: Abrar Al-Kandari (Early Childhood Education), Nadia Al-Mayyass (Mathematics – Intermediate/Secondary), and Halima Al-Hashimi (Arabic Language – Elementary), under the supervision of Dr. Nadia Jassem Al-Ryahi, Director of the Center for Educational Development at Kuwait University.
This achievement is considered a distinguished national and educational milestone, as Teach KW Galaxy is the first Kuwaiti educational application to integrate both teacher and student needs into a single platform. It offers intelligent tools for lesson planning, exam preparation, and the provision of innovative, AI-powered teaching strategies aimed at addressing curriculum gaps and supporting teachers across Kuwait.
