The College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University, in collaboration with the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity – one of the centers under the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences – organized an interactive workshop for students enrolled in the "Entrepreneurship" course. The workshop covered the fundamentals of success in digital innovation and entrepreneurship, and highlighted the best methods for pitching projects to investors. It was presented by two representatives from the center: Mr. Hamad Al-Eftan, Head of the Inventors Affairs Department, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Ayyaf, Head of the Invention Development Department.
Dr. Dhari Al-Huwail, Associate Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and instructor of the course, emphasized the importance of such practical, interactive workshops in enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. He noted that these sessions help develop innovation and teamwork skills, preparing students to embark on successful entrepreneurial ventures with confidence and competence. He added that throughout the semester, students worked in teams to develop innovative entrepreneurial projects—both for-profit and non-profit—that address real-world challenges, support sustainable development goals, and contribute to achieving Kuwait Vision 2035.
